A New Chapter

I'm not holding back.
Though I am over what we had,
I'm excited for what is to come.

I can't forget what you did to me.
But I'm willing to move forward.
Let's do it.

I feel so alive.
Don't you?
Freedom is near.

And we are so close to
tasting it.
It's unbelievable.

I'm hoping something will come
out of this.
I've changed and you have too.

Have we finally grown up?
Or are we just working together?
I'm curious.

We both took that first step...
And now we are creating a new relationship.
It's nice.

I'm glad we are talking again.
Though, I was the one neglecting you...
At first...

We both did some damage but we can
both repair it.
Which is what all people need to do.

We all need to just sit back and look at the bigger
picture.
We can fix anything.

We're just too stubborn sometimes.
But it is still managable.
